Here are some pictures from the dress rehearsal of the opening gala performance of the UK China Arts and Design Festival 2011, directed and choreographed by Dr. Johan Stjernholm. The work was site specific, involved around 40 models and amateur performers, and consisted of a fusion of contermporary dance theatre and fashion design. The performance marked the opening of a large exhibition of work from Chinese Fine Artists and Designers.
