Space Engineering

Dr. Johan Stjernholm is a member of the "Thinking through Performance Group" at London College of Fashion. Thinking through Performance is a small group of practitioners and theorists who meet to explore issues around performance, design, the body, movement and dress from their various perspectives. The group, which is organised by Prof. Helen Thomas, is currently preparing for a one-day symposium, 27th June 2010, at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

The symposium is led by broadcaster and writer, Christopher Cook, and the aim of the event is to explore discourses on performance with a focus on the body, space, movement, visuality and dress, whilst enabling participants to share their current practice and research across various performance disciplines and practices, through reflective and/or practical engagement.
